Steve Hinkley

Steve Hinkley is a developer of luxury homes in Florida’s beautiful Highway 30A Gulf communities and a licensed Tennessee affiliate broker. Prior to working in real estate, he spent 15 years in the cultural nonprofit sector, most recently serving as President and CEO of Adventure Science Center in Nashville, Tennessee, establishing and implementing a multi-year transformation to become a premiere hands-on science and innovation center for families.

Previously, Hinkley served as the founding President and CEO of MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation in Santa Barbara, California, where he oversaw a $27 million dollar startup capital campaign and the construction of a LEED Gold certified science center. His museum work began with the Perot Museum of Nature in Science in Dallas, Texas, serving as the Vice President of Exhibits and Education through the funding, design and construction of a new 185,000-square-foot LEED Gold facility.

Steve’s first professional career was in the classroom as a middle- and high-school science teacher and outdoor program leader.

He is passionate about outdoor adventure, preservation of public lands, and sharing the natural environment with others. He is a graduate of National Outdoor Leadership School and has traveled extensively in the pursuit of his favorite hobby, large format landscape photography.

Steve and his wife Morgan enjoy traveling, spending time with family in Florida and Colorado, raising their two young children, and taking their bernedoodle, Hattie, for walks.
