Become a Hike-a-Thon 2025 Sponsor!

“HK Architects really had a great time participating in the Hike-a-Thon this year and last year. It’s been a really fun team activity, gives us an opportunity to plan some hikes outside the office, get outside in nature, and just get reinspired and have a good time together as a team.”

– Teal Thibaud, Marketing Manager at HK Architects

Every year, TennGreen Land Conservancy hosts our largest event, the Hike-a-Thon, for two main reasons:

  • To get people outside and experiencing nature
  • To support conservation in Tennessee, protecting our beautiful state for generations to come

The more successful each Hike-a-Thon is, the more land we’re able to protect. And one of the most powerful ways you can help is through a Hike-a-Thon sponsorship.

“Why I wanted to support TennGreen is, I’ve been aware of TennGreen since before we started in the Hike-a-Thon. I thought, ‘What a great organization and what a great partnership with an organization that I think is important and doing important work.’ And, at the same time, will allow us as a family, as a company, to be together, to do to things that everyone wants to do and can be onboard with. There’s a lot of activities that we could do that might be important to one or two people here, but this is, I feel like, something that is very encompassing for us.”

– Clif McCormick, AIA, Principal, HK Architects (sponsor)

Sponsors and Participants Agree:

“Any time I contribute in any way, shape, or form to TennGreen Land Conservancy, I know that they are a lean, mean, conservation machine, and I trust them to make decisions with their Strategic Plan that they have for the entire state. They are going to be conserving land forever.”

– Brenda Stein, TennGreen Member

“In my personal life, and with the work that I do at REI, our work is so closely tied to creating opportunities for people to engage with the outdoors where they feel educated, that they have great access, and they have the gear they need to have an amazing outdoor experience. And so, this partnership with TennGreen and the Hike-a-Thon specifically, really naturally aligns with getting more people that may be new to the outdoors into an environment where they can hike solo, they can meet other people, or as a group, and they can do so with multiple organizations and companies that they trust.”

– Jacqueline Harp, TennGreen Board Member, REI (sponsor)

“As an arborist, one of our favorite things to say is that we get to take care of the oldest living organisms on Earth. And taking care of those, getting to spend time in nature with them, and making sure we still have trees to take care of is what’s important to us.”

Drew Philpott, Local Manager, Bartlett Tree Services (sponsor)

Ready to become a Hike-a-Thon sponsor?

“Just do it! Just sign up! You can do as much or as little as you want. You might meet some new people, you might go some new places. And if you go on some of the group trips TennGreen does, that’s really, really amazing. Everything is already set up for you and you know it’s going to be a safe adventure out in nature. It’s just a great way to help! It’s a fun event.”
