Who is TennGreen Land Conservancy Introduction Video

Since 1998, TennGreen Land Conservancy has led the charge to protect our ecologically-rich, beautiful, and historically-significant treasures that make Tennessee unique. Our mission is to protect land and waters where people and nature can thrive.

TennGreen does so through three main methods:
  • Acquisitions: which have led to the creation and expansion of many of our beloved parks and natural areas…
  • Conservation Easements: which legally uphold the conservation vision of private landowners…
  • Restoration Projects: which help rebuild and revitalize our state’s critical nature, such as wetlands, savannah grasslands, and more.
Some of our greatest success stories include:

Yet our work is never done. TennGreen Land Conservancy works in perpetuity—forever, that is. As long as there are lands and waters to protect in Tennessee, we’ll be here—protecting the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the nature that sustains us all.
