CONSERVING LAND WHERE PEOPLE AND NATURE CAN THRIVE
TennGreen Land Conservancy (formerly the Tennessee Parks & Greenways Foundation) empowers landowners and communities to protect large, connected natural areas that support diversity of life, inspire appreciation of nature, and spark action to protect the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the land that sustains us all.
OUR WORK FOR ALL TENNESSEANS
STATEWIDE TennGreen is the oldest accredited statewide land conservancy in Tennessee
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
Since 1998, we’ve been a trusted partner in conservation across the state! Together, we’ve conserved 50,072 acres of land, protected more than 194 miles of streams and rivers, created or expanded 46 public spaces, and protected essential habitat for 69 rare species.
Registration is open for TennGreen’s fourth annual Hike-a-Thon, a month-long competition in April that supports the protection of our lands and waters. This event is free to register, and you can participate from anywhere in the world.
