Cookeville City Natural Area
Constructed for Cookeville’s first water treatment facility, City lake, a 35-acre impoundment of the Falling Water River on Bridgeway Drive is popular with fishing enthusiasts seeking bass, bream and catfish. The area is maintained in a natural state with a few improvements to help accessibility. The park features a fishing pier, hiking trails and a boat ramp. The natural area also includes City Lake Falls, a 14’ cascade best viewed during wet weather.
